Please read and review the concrete commercial agreement and operational standards governing your store on HotPlateGo:
1. Platform Role & Marketplace Model
HotPlateGo provides digital ordering, Point-of-Sale (POS), menu hosting, and dispatch notification technology to connect local fast food vendors with customers. HotPlateGo acts solely as an intermediary technology platform. Vendors operate as independent businesses and are not employees or agents of HotPlateGo.
2. Commercial Terms & Marketplace Fee
There are zero upfront setup fees and zero monthly subscription costs. HotPlateGo charges a flat marketplace commission fee of R5.00 per completed online order. Pay-on-collection counter orders incur zero online platform card commission.
3. Customer Digital Service Fee
Customers pay an independent R2.00 digital processing fee at checkout on online orders. This fee supports payment gateway maintenance and automated dispatch. It is paid directly by the customer and is never deducted from vendor earnings.
4. Instant Onboarding & Registration
HotPlateGo provides instant onboarding to empower local fast food businesses and home kitchens. CIPC registration and formal documentation are optional, and personal ID numbers are not required. Vendors warrant that all store information and contact details provided are accurate and truthful.
5. Food Safety, Hygiene & Quality
The Vendor bears full responsibility for food preparation, kitchen hygiene standards, fresh ingredients, allergen disclosures, temperature control, and compliance with all applicable municipal health regulations. Food must be prepared fresh and safely packaged for customer collection or courier transit.
6. Menu Pricing & Order Fulfillment
Vendors retain 100% control over their menu items, descriptions, prices, and stock availability. Vendors agree to fulfill accepted orders within their stated preparation time and promptly update item availability to avoid unfulfillable orders.
7. Secure Handover & Collection PIN Verification
To safeguard customer orders and prevent misplacement, vendors agree to verify or record the customer's unique 4-digit collection PIN upon meal handover.
8. Payments, Payouts & Settlements
Online customer payments processed through integrated payment gateways are settled directly to the vendor's registered bank account according to the standard payout schedule, net of the marketplace commission.
9. Refunds, Disputes & Account Integrity
Vendors agree to resolve legitimate customer quality or missing item disputes in good faith. Cancellations after food preparation has begun remain at the vendor's discretion. HotPlateGo reserves the right to suspend stores that violate safety, legality, or platform integrity.
